Merry Christmas Cyndy from Cyndy G Time Made for Me with a cute Santa Primitive Stitched Card from SVG Attic.  I used the Cherry Latte Trendy Bakers Twine to outline my card.  I thought the red and white with Kraft was just perfect for the primitive look of the card. 

This is the sweetest card and I love the finished look with the twine.  There are so many different colors of twine you're sure to find the perfect match for any project.

Santa Countdown ~ with Cyndy G

Good morning, I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving.  I always enjoy spending the day with my family.  I can't believe Christmas is just four weeks away.  If you enjoy doing an advent calendar then now is the time to get it out.  Today I am sharing the Santa Star Pockets Countdown, the file does have two parts so make sure you pick up both parts.

 

I shrunk my Santa.  I cut him at 58% and as you can see it is still pretty big.  Mine came out to be about 24" long and 7" wide.  I used one sheet of Graphic 45 for the pockets and the rest is just some heavy cardstock.

This project was easy to put together but except to spend the better part of a day to finish this project as there are a lot of little pockets to put on.  Thank you for stopping by today.

Christmas Tags ~ with Cyndy G

Happy Christmas Eve.  If any of you are like me you are doing some last minute projects.  I decided I wanted some cute tags to go on my gifts this year and I choose a file from My Scrap Chick - Sweet Winter Faces.  These were perfect.  There are very few pieces so they went to together very quickly!

Added bonus - they are super cute!

I used Trendy Twine to attach them to the packages and I added a circle to the back of each to write on.  You could also use the piece in the file that makes them a card and write inside that.  I made these smaller than the original file - I sized them to 4 inches.

I just love how these turned out.

I also used the Owl Love U file.  You can't see them but this paper has owls on it.

O Christmas Tree ~ with Cyndy G

Today I am sharing a project from My Scrap Chick.  I made a tree from Mix & Match Tree Box Trio.  These boxes are so easy to put together and can look so different based on the paper you choose to use.

The paper I used is from BoBunny - Carousel Christmas.  I think it is beautiful. 

I also added a few gems and some ribbon from my stash to finish my trees.

Santa's List ~ with Cyndy G.

Hello crafty friends.  I hope everyone had a fun and safe Halloween.  I know my kids really enjoyed the night!

Today I am sharing a card from SVG Attic. I made using the CG Father Christmas kit.  The Santa's List Box Card.  This is one of my favorite cards.  I have to warn you that there is a lot of paper piecing to do with this card but I think it is worth the time!

I used Graphic 45 - Father Christmas paper.

I also inked a lot of the edges to add more depth to the card.

Father Christmas ~ with Cyndy G.

Good morning and happy Friday!  Today I wanted to share with you a fun bag and card from the new kit CG Father Christmas.  This is such a fun kit.  There are three cards and two gift bags.

I used the beautiful new Graphic 45 St. Nicholas paper for this project.

This is the smaller gift bag from the kit and it is 6.5" x 8" x 2.  Just perfect for a smaller gift.

This card is my favorite.  Santa checking his list.

There is plenty of room on the back to journal or add stamping.

Jolly Old Saint Nicholas, Lean Your Ear This Way ~ with Cyndy G

Can you believe it is time to start thinking about Christmas.  I remember as a child going to the mall and seeing Santa's Chair with the sign saying when he would arrive.  Still to this day I get a little excited when I see his chair sitting awaiting his arrival.  So you can imagine my delight when I saw the new kit JGW Santas Repose!  I choose to do Santa's Chair.

I love this over-sized chair.  From the extra cushion on the back to the rolled arms.

Isn't this paper cute!  It is Maja Design - Vintage Winter, it is made in Sweden but there are a couple of scrapbook supply stores on-line that sell it here in America.  It has a very nice weight and works well with these projects.

In Jodi's design of this chair she has this Santa tag on the front but 

I didn't want to cover up my cute paper so I put mine on the back.

I just love this tag.  The detail is wonderful! 

 And the best part of the chair is that the bottom comes off and you can fit a gift card in it.

Santa's Tool Box

I can't believe that Christmas is only eight days away!  For my project today I used the JGW Tools Rule Set.  I needed some stocking stuffers for my boys.  I love the way this Tool Box turned out.  I enlarged the front panel so I could add Santa's with a Stencil font.

I cut the tool box out at the size it imports at.  It is about 4.5 inches tall and 5.5 inches wide.

The tools I shrunk to 4.5 inches long.  They are the perfect size for the little candy canes.  You could even put a chap stick in the wrench and a small chocolate Santa in the power drill.  These will fit perfectly a stocking.  I love the small size.  This  is a quick and easy project that you can complete in a day.

Sitting Santa

I have to admit I love everything Christmas!  I am one of those people who can hardly wait for Thanksgiving weekend so I can decorate and start playing Christmas carols.  For my post today I am sharing my Sitting Santa.  I made him using the following kits:

JGW Sam the Scarecrow  -  Cut all scarecrow pieces to size (except face)
Winter Fun Photo Props  -  Santa
Cozy Christmas Captions  -  Believe

I love the way he turned out!  My mom thought he was made of wood.

I used the body pieces of the scarecrow ledge sitter and the only thing I changed was the size of the gloves.  I sized mine to 3.360 x 4.144  (make sure to uncheck the keep proportions box.).  I wanted mine to be a little smaller.

Fur around pants - Winter Photo Props/Santa

For his face and hat I used the Winter Photo Props - Santa file.

TIP - for the back of the Santa make sure you flip the hat and hat fur pieces before you cut them so they are a mirror image of the ones on the front, especially if you use a patterned paper.

I decided he needed a belt and I used basic shapes to make one. 

 I used the rectangle and the square frame.

As a finishing touch I used the Believe caption from Cozy Christmas Captions.  

I sized the width to 9.021 (keep proportions) and used some cute clothes pins 

I found at Michaels in their dollar bin.
