By the Sea ~ with Cyndy G

Happy Friday.  Today I am sharing a project using files from SVG Attic's - JGW Fathoms Deep.  I used the top piece of the Claim Shell Box.  I got the idea from Annes Paper Creations.

First I cut the base of the shell three times - once out of Chip board and twice out of Vanill Cardstock to cover the front and back of the chipboard.  Next I cut the panels out of decorative paper.  I used Graphic 45 - By The Sea.  I raised every other section of the shell by using strips of foam tape under the panels to give the shell the feeling of ripples that you find on a real claim shell.

I did a lot of fussy cutting and used Modge Podge on all the pieces before assembling the project.  This helps protect your fussy cut pieces from tears it and really makes the base solid.  Finally I added a self adhesive picture hook to the back so it can be hung.  The overall size of the project is about 5x7.

Alice Pocket Watch ~ with Cyndy G

Hello today I am sharing a project I made using files from SVG Attic/Snapdragon Snippets.  I used the Pocket Watch Face as the base of my project.  I out the pocket watch four times - two in chipboard and two with patterned paper.

The paper is Graphic 45 - Halloween in Wonderland.  I love this paper and decided to do a dimensional wall hanging using it and the pocket watch.  I did a lot of fussy cutting for this project.  I used foam tape to give it extra dimension.

I finished off my project with Modge Podge.  This will help project the paper and add strength to the overall project.  Thank you for stopping by.

Trendy Bakers Twine Steampunk Air Balloon ~ GDT Cyndy G.

Hello crafty friends - Cyndy from Cyndy G Time Made for Me.  Today I am sharing my last GDT project for the month.  I made a Steampunk Air Balloon using the Cotton Candy Trendy Bakers Twine.  The svg files are from SVG Attic/Snapdragon Snippets.  I used the Hot Air Balloon Box and the Submarine 3d Box.

I ran the "rope" panels through my Xyron machine and applied the Cotton Candy Trendy Bakers Twine to the front of them.  It was very easy to do but if you are going to try this make sure not to pull your twine tight that will cause the twine to separate from the panel.  I braided some of the Cotton Candy Trendy Bakers Twine and attached an anchor and made a couple tassels.

Thank you for stopping by.  I have enjoyed being here.
I hope I have given you some new ideas for ways of using your Trendy Bakers Twine.

April's Treat Packaging Bundle.  Bundle includes:

Camp Cards ~ with Cyndy G

Hello I want to share a project I created using files from My Scrap Chick - Country Village Small House Box.  These little houses are so cute and easy to put together.

I thought these would be perfect for my daughter to take to camp with her.  She loves to write notes to her friends and I know she will enjoy writing notes for the new friends she makes at camp.

I cut several cards to go in the box, added some stickers and colored pencils and she has everything she will need to write a quick note to her new friends.  I know she is going to be so excited to use these.
Thank you for stopping by.
