Breast Cancer Angel ~ with Cyndy

Hello today I bring you my version of the JGW Liberty Angel.  I turned mine into a Breast Cancer Angel.

3d paper Breast Cancer Angel

I love the hair on Jodi's version of the angel but I thought it more fitting to make mine with just a bow around her head.  A tribute to my dear friend Tami who is fighting breast cancer right now.

I also changed out the word America for Courage.

I used the hearts and put them on a breast cancer ribbon I had.

I am very pleased with the way my angel came together.  I will say if you decided to take this project on give yourself plenty of time and don't rush it.  She has a brilliant design and I love all the details that are included but she is one of the harder pieces I have done.  I just love her and I plan to make more!  I hope you have enjoyed my project today!

Up, Up and Away ~ with Cyndy G

For today's project I used JGW Above It All and the card base from JGW Fashionably French.  The paper I used is from Graphic 45, Magic of Oz.

Wizard of Oz card and paper 3d hot air balloon

I used some gold foil paper for the accents and glitter paper for the flags.  The glitter paper is from DCWV.  I just love this new glitter paper.  It is thinner and the glitter is not clumpy so it cuts nicely on your cutting machine.

I wanted to create a card to go with this balloon so I decided on the
Double Bi-Fold card from the JGW Fashionably French kit.

I had a lot of fun creating this project, hope you enjoyed it.  Thank you for stopping by :)

Remembering My Dad ~ with Cyndy

I fell in love with the JGW Happy Trails when I first saw it and I knew I wanted to make a hat just like the one I remember my Dad wearing.  I decided to make a western picture frame and thought this photo of my Dad would work perfectly.  Hat can be purchased at the Silhouette Design Store - Cowboy 3D Hat.

Western picture frame

My Dad was a big man, 6'7" and he liked to wear big turquoise rings,
so I found a turquoise stone to put on the hat.

The paper for the boot, I've had for awhile.  It's from October Afternoon.  You will love this boot.  It goes together nicely.  I've tried other boot files and couldn't get them to look right but I love this one.

For the frame I used the Stable from JGW Nativity Boxes 4 - Stable.
I embossed all the pieces with wood grain.  It worked perfectly!

I hope you have enjoyed my project today.
