Owl Boxes ~ with Cyndy G

Good morning crafty friends.  I don't know how your weather is but we are setting records here in the South!  I am ready for fall to arrive.  I've got some new fun and easy fall projects to share with you today.  Owl Treat Boxes - they can be found on My Scrap Chick.  These cute little boxes go together so quickly you could make a bunch in time.

Three different sized boxes made to look like a primitive owl.

They come in three different sizes.  Depending on the paper these could be used for different seasons and holidays.  Halloween, Christmas, fall, etc.  The possibilities are endless.

Pumpkin Boxes ~ Cyndy G

It is officially fall and here in the South it still feels like summer.  We are expecting our high for the day to reach 90!  It just feels wrong to be eating and drinking all things pumpkin when it is so warm outside but it's fall.  I love all the rustic wood pumpkins and that was the inspiration for my newest file CG Pumpkin Boxes.  Super simple to put together and they look wonderful!  You will need something long to reach into the box when you glue the tops on (like a pencil or dowel).

Three square paper pumpkin boxes in varying sizes

3 Boxes to add to your Fall and Halloween decor or use as gift boxes.  Would make a wonderful Hostess gift for the fall holidays.

Happy Fall ~ with Cyndy G

Good morning.  For all my east coast friends, I hope you are staying safe as Hurricane Dorian passes.  I know we are still two weeks away from fall but I'm tired of being so hot!  Today I wanted to celebrate the up coming season of fall.  It is my favorite time of year.  Not because of pumpkin spice but because of the cooler weather.  Today I have two new box cards in the store at My Scrap Chick that are similar but give you two different perspectives.

I have a Vintage Truck Box Card styled after the 1939 Ford Truck.  The side view of this truck showcases the fender, running board and unique front grill.

3d card in the shape of a vintage truck with pumpkins in the back

I also have the Fall Truck Box Card.  This truck is styled after the 1947 Chevy Truck.  Both trucks are hauling pumpkins and sunflowers.

Both cards are great for all your fall celebrations.  Thank you for stopping by today.

Ahoy Matie ~ with Cyndy G

Good morning crafters.  I hope your weekend is off to a good start.  I'm looking forward to mine because after weeks of temperatures in the 90s our highs are only going to be in the 70s today!  To kick off the weekend I want to share some of the new box cards that can be found at My Scrap Chick.

The first card I'm going to share is the Crayon Box Card.  This card is perfect as a welcome back to school card for students and teachers.  It is bright and cheery.  It is quick and easy to put together, the panels on front are layered to create the stripe effect so there are no small pieces to handle, even a child can assemble it.

The next card is another colorful card and one that just popped in my head.  The Gumball Machine Box Card.  I have never seen another like it.  This card is sure to impress.  You can even add a gumball under the dispenser if you would like!

3d svg gumball box card

The next two cards I'm going to share with you I have been thinking about for long time.  These are great for themed parties.  Obviously, a pirate theme but they could also work for a Harry Potter theme or how about an escape room party.  There are so many uses for these cards.  Up first is the Treasure Box Box Card.  It's full of jewels and lots of gold and has a treasure map shaped sentiment panel on the back.

3d svg treasure box card

Finally is the Pirate Ship Box Card.  This is another unique card.  The ship is crashing through the waves.  I curved the sails at the bottom with my finger to give them a little more dimension.  There is a little movement in the sails.  The card has a support "beam" that prevents the sails from flopping over.  TIP:  Use good card stock for the base of the sails so your card will stand tall.
 Aye Aye Captain.

I hope you enjoy all the new cards.  I look forward to seeing what you do with them.  If you make any of the files from My Scrap Chick we would love for you to share them with us on our facebook fan page:

You can also find lots of project ideas on our blog - My Scrap Chick Blog.

Do what inspires you,

PS - All of the cards have a finished size of 5x7 so they will fit in an A5 envelope.

Toy Box Box Card - with Cyndy G

Good morning.  Today I have a fun new card to share with you, the Toy Box Box Card.  This cute card was inspired by the toy box my children had when they were little.  The toy box was a central piece of furniture in our family room for a lot of years.  I miss the days of watching the kids leaning into it searching for that one toy.  What a fun card for boys and girls alike.  The card goes together quickly so if you are searching for a card for that special toddler this may be just what you need.

Mr Snowman ~ with Cyndy G

Good morning and happy Friday.  Cyndy here bringing you a project from SVG Attic.  I decided to make the Snowman 3D Ensemble.  Christmas may be over but as a lot of us know winter is still here!  Here in southern NC we don't see a lot of snow and when we do get snow it comes with a big dose of ice.  As we approach the weekend we are waiting once again for an ice storm so I thought this little snowman would make a good plea for snow :)

I think he is just adorable and he really wasn't hard to put together.  This is a project that could be completed in a day.

3d Snowman head

Doesn't he have the cutest face.  I just love his crooked smile.  The kit does come with a bow but I decided I wanted to use some ribbon I had on hand.  I thought it fit him perfect.  Thank you for stopping by.
