Easter Cards by Cyndy G

Happy spring.  It is nice to have warmer weather here in the South.  Today I want to share some new Easter Cards.  I have some for all skills levels.

A2 Bunny Card.  This is a quick and easy card to assemble.

Bunny Envelope Box Card.  What a sweet little card.  Folded size is 5x7.

The Bunny Flower Pop Up Card.  These are my favorite cards to make.  

They really give a Wow factor.  Folded size is 5x7.

This sweet Bunny Slimline Card is very easy to assemble.

This card fits a #10 envelope.

How cute is this Chick Twist and Pop Card.  Talk about wowing the receiver.

This is an A2 card.

The last card I'm sharing today is another slimline card.  

The Easter Truck Slimline card fits a business #10 envelope.

Easter Files

Good morning crafty friends.  I can't believe it is the middle of March already.  I am ready for spring.  I have designed some fun new Easter files.  I receive lots of requests for more "grown up" designs.  I always try to include at least one design in each release to meet this request.  For Easter I created this beautiful EGG PEDESTAL BOX CARD 3D SVG.  I just love it.

I also have the cute Bunny Tail Pop Up and Bunny Pail Pop Up cards.  I love pop up cards, they give me so much more flexibility in creating.

Lastly I have the Mason Jar Chicks.  There are two versions the Chick Mason Jar and 

Chick Mason Jar 2.  These are such quick and simple projects.  They would be great for crafting with the kids.

St. Patrick's Day Fun

Hello crafty friends.  Today I want to share with you lots of new files I have created for St. Patrick's Day.  I have lots of cards and a cute treat bag and box.  Everything is quick and simple to make, plus they all have video tutorials to help with any questions you may have.

First up is the Leprechaun Pop Up.  All the files come with an optional mustache, pictured on the Leprechaun with the beer.  There is also a Leprechaun with Pipe and a Leprechaun with Harp.

Match these cards up with the Bowler Hat Box.  What a fun way to give a treat.

Do you like slimline cards?  I got a cute Lucky Truck Slimline Box Card.

Looking for something more "grown up".  I have just the card, the Horseshoe Box Card.  This card is perfect for birthdays, thank you notes or just thinking of you.

What about a fun Rainbow Box Card.  

Need a super quick and easy treat bag.  This is just what you are looking for.  The Clover Handled Bag is super easy to assemble.  It is the perfect project to work on with you children.

Back To School

 Summer has finally ended and it is time once again for those wonderful school days.  I have created some easy cards and a school bus box just for the occasion.

The Envelope Apple Box Card is a sweet way to give a teacher an Apple.  

The Pencil Slimline Box Card looks just like a real pencil

There is also the School Bus Box.  What a get gift box for the bus driver.

Your teacher and school friends would love receiving one of these cards or box.

Sunflower Projects

 Hello crafty friends.  Today I'm sharing some beautiful Sunflower files I created.  First I have the Sunflower Envelope Box Card.  It is so beautiful plus is it easy to make.  I even have a video to follow for putting this card together.  

To coordinate with the card there is a Sunflower Box that measures 4x4x2.  What a lovely gift and card to give and receive.  The paper I used is Graphic 45 - Garden Goddess and AC Textured Card Stock.

Ahoy Matie ~ with Cyndy G

Good morning crafters.  I hope your weekend is off to a good start.  I'm looking forward to mine because after weeks of temperatures in the 90s our highs are only going to be in the 70s today!  To kick off the weekend I want to share some of the new box cards.

The first card I'm going to share is The Gumball Machine Box Card.  I have never seen another like it.  This card is sure to impress.  You can even add a gumball under the dispenser if you would like!  It is bright and cheery.  It is quick and easy to put together, the panels on front are layered to create the stripe effect so there are no small pieces to handle, even a child can assemble it.

The next two cards I'm going to share with you I have been thinking about for long time.  These are great for themed parties.  Obviously, a pirate theme but they could also work for a Harry Potter theme or how about an escape room party.  There are so many uses for these cards.  Up first is the Treasure Box Box Card.  It's full of jewels and lots of gold and has a treasure map shaped sentiment panel on the back.

Finally is the Pirate Ship Box Card.  This is another unique card.  The ship is crashing through the waves.  I curved the sails at the bottom with my finger to give them a little more dimension.  There is a little movement in the sails.  The card has a support "beam" that prevents the sails from flopping over.  TIP:  Use good card stock for the base of the sails so your card will stand tall. 

 Aye Aye Captain.

Christmas in July - Day 2

So happy to see you back today.  I have another box card to share - a Christmas Mason Jar Box Card.  This one is super cute.  How sweet is this card.  It would make a fun birthday card.  I think it would also be a great card to give to someone you bake Christmas cookies with!

I wish I could stay decorated for Christmas all year, it truly is my favorite time of year.  Hope you see you tomorrow.

Christmas in July - Day 1

Hello crafty friends this week we are celebrating Christmas in July.  I know if I want to send handmade cards I have to get started on them now.  Today I am sharing a new Snowman Box Card .

Duck and Duckling Father's Day Card ~ with Cyndy G.

Good morning.  I can't believe how fast this year is flying by.  Sunday is Father's day and if you are looking for a quick card to make with the kids I've got the perfect project for you.  This project was made using files from My Scrap Chick.  I used the Box in a Card - Square, Duck and Duckling Silhouettes and Duck and Cattails Silhouettes.

The paper is Graphic 45, Good Ole Sport.  This file is easy enough for your children to put together and they will be so proud of the what they were able to make.  

My kids love making box cards.  They have a great WOW factor.  

This looks so masculine and the duckling makes it perfect for Father's Day.

Under the Sea ~ with Cyndy G

Today I am sharing a project from My Scrap Chick.  I used Under the Sea and Box in a Card - Square files.  The Under the Sea files are set up to be used for a scrapbook page but I thought they would make a great Box card!

The paper I used is Doodlebug - Under the sea.  Very fitting :)

To size the pieces I put everything on my mat (box card and mermaid files) and then scale the files down until they fit in the box card.  I sized my mermaid a little too big so I attached her a little lower in the box.  I would have liked her to be small enough that the seaweed and fish behind her were more visible.

Box cards are definitely my favorite type of card to make!  Thank you for stopping by today.

Carousel Dreams ~ with Cyndy G

Good morning.  Thank you for stopping by.  Today I am sharing a new kit in the SVG Attic Store that I created, CG Carousel Dreams.  I hope you love it as much as I do.  I used Authentique Imagine.  It is beautiful paper that fit my vision perfectly!

This card has an insert that pulls out.  

Mine is white on the opposite so that a message can be written.

On my boxcard I popped the gold trim on top of the carousel and the mirror with some foam tape to give the card a little more dimension.

The Horse centerpiece looks stunning and it is very easy to assemble.  The base pieces all fit inside one another (three pieces) then you insert the post, I filled the bottom third of mine with glass beads for weight, and glue the finial on top.  Once you have your horse assembled you glue her to the front.

This little treat bag is one piece and goes together very quickly.

Finally, my favorite piece in the kit.  The carousel gift bag.  

This bag is stunning and can be decorated, like shown or it can be left in a solid color.

It looks beautiful either way.

Christmas in July ~ with Cyndy G

Today I am sharing a box card I created using My Scrap Chick's Christmas Nativity 1- Manger and Box in a Card A2 (square rounded).  

I just love box cards and the adorable MSC files are perfect for creating custom box cards.

I started by putting all the pieces together on my desktop and scaling everything down so that the Manger was just slightly larger than the back of the box card.  The Manger is approximately 3.25" wide and Joseph is just a little over 2" tall.

I inked all the edges and added some foam tape behind the star.  I love how everything came out.  Hope you have a wonderful week and don't forget Christmas is just 173 days away, you better get busy if you are going to make your Christmas cards this year :)

Christmas Bear ~ with Cyndy G.

Happy Friday!  I hope everyone is enjoying getting ready for the Holidays!  I know I am.  Today I am sharing my version of a Polar Christmas Bear using the JGW 3D Teddy Bear kit.  I love how he turned out.  I used red glitter ribbon and Christmas buttons.

I also added a cute little hat and scarf that I picked up after Christmas last year.  

I think they finish him off perfectly!
