Easter Cards by Cyndy G

Happy spring.  It is nice to have warmer weather here in the South.  Today I want to share some new Easter Cards.  I have some for all skills levels.

A2 Bunny Card.  This is a quick and easy card to assemble.

Bunny Envelope Box Card.  What a sweet little card.  Folded size is 5x7.

The Bunny Flower Pop Up Card.  These are my favorite cards to make.  

They really give a Wow factor.  Folded size is 5x7.

This sweet Bunny Slimline Card is very easy to assemble.

This card fits a #10 envelope.

How cute is this Chick Twist and Pop Card.  Talk about wowing the receiver.

This is an A2 card.

The last card I'm sharing today is another slimline card.  

The Easter Truck Slimline card fits a business #10 envelope.

Easter Files

Good morning crafty friends.  I can't believe it is the middle of March already.  I am ready for spring.  I have designed some fun new Easter files.  I receive lots of requests for more "grown up" designs.  I always try to include at least one design in each release to meet this request.  For Easter I created this beautiful EGG PEDESTAL BOX CARD 3D SVG.  I just love it.

I also have the cute Bunny Tail Pop Up and Bunny Pail Pop Up cards.  I love pop up cards, they give me so much more flexibility in creating.

Lastly I have the Mason Jar Chicks.  There are two versions the Chick Mason Jar and 

Chick Mason Jar 2.  These are such quick and simple projects.  They would be great for crafting with the kids.

Bunny House ~ with Cyndy G.

Hello, thank you for stopping by.  Today I am sharing with you a darling little bunny house box I created using files from My Scrap Chick.  I used the Carrot Box and Bunny Town.  The paper is Doodlebug Design - Easter Parade from last year.  I still had some left over in my stash.

I just love this box.  It stands about 7.5 inches tall not including the greens on top, 

so you can fit a bunch of candy in these :)

I used the pieces from the Carrot townhouse to turn my carrot into a house and 

added the sweet Egg-spress bunny to the front porch.

My Scrap Chick has the cutest paper piecing kits!

Springtime Bunny ~ with Cyndy G

Happy Friday, thank you for stopping by.  Today I am sharing with you the wonderful  JGW 3d Button Jointed Bunny.  I just love the 3d figures.  I decided to shrink my bunny, I cut her at 70%.  She is about 9" tall (top of head).  I also used the garden hat from JGW Gaby's Garden and glued her ears to it.

I used Trendy Twine, Twisted Blue Berry around the brim of the hat and to tie her joints together.  The paper is Graphic 45, Robin's Egg from Botanical Tea.

I also used some flower buttons I had in my stash.  I just love how everything came together.  Thank you again for stopping.  Have a crafty weekend.

She's Having A Baby ~ with Cyndy G.

Having a baby is such a joyous time for a family.  I have had and continue to have a great deal of joy watching my children grow but I admit I love the "baby stage" the best.  For me there is nothing better than rocking a baby while they sleep on your shoulder.  Today I have a project to share that I made for very special members of our SVG Attic family, Mike and Kenzie.

I love the soft baby blues.  I used some older Making Memories, Pitter Patter paper I had for the bunny and the stunning paper on the card is Maja Design, Vintage Baby.

For the base of the card I used the Step Card SVG Collection.  

I modified the width of the right side slightly so it would look more like a dresser.  

To make the dresser I used some basic shapes.  I used the rectangle for the dresser and drawers and interstate sign for the molding on the bottom of the dresser.

The carriage and rocking horse I used are in the SDS Rockabye Baby Cards kit.

The teddy bear is in the JGW 3 Stockings kit.

I just love this JGW 3D Button Jointed Bunny.  I wanted to soften his features so I used Brown for the eyes and nose.  I would recommend this kit to anyone wanting to make an impression with paper crafting.  He is worth the time.  I have made two of these so far and I think I will make more!  

If you want to try one with a pattern paper take your time to think through the direction of the pattern on each piece so you can configure it the right way on your cutting mat.

He even has a cute little tail!  I hope you have enjoyed seeing my project as I had making it.

SVG Attic I-team Introduction

Hello everyone!  My name is Cyndy Gustashaw.  This is my second term on the SVG Attic I-team.  I hope I am able to continue to inspire you with my personal touches using SVG Attic files and hope you will enjoy using them as much as I do.

I am married to a wonderful man.  He thinks it's great that I have a craft I enjoy doing.  We have five children ranging in age from 30 - 5 years.

I was born in Virginia and raised in Southern California which I still refer to it as home.  I moved to North Carolina 23 years ago and live in the Charlotte area.  I love experiencing the seasons change.
I love photography and scrapbooking which evolved into paper crafting and have been doing them for over 20 years.  I like simple clean lines, less is more for me.

I have lots of favorite projects. For my introduction today I have chosen the new JGW 3D Button Jointed Bunny.  This little guy is so cute!

I used Graphic 45 - Once Upon A Springtime.  I absolutely love this paper!

Our garden at work is in bloom, so I took advantage of the sun and flowers.  

I love spring!  It is my favorite time for taking photos.

I love his little tail.  Doesn't he have the cutest little face.

I know as you look at this project some of you are thinking he looks too difficult but if you take your time and don't rush it you will have him together before you know it.  I started with the arms, legs and feet - these are very simple shapes.  Then I tackled the head and body. I had the most trouble with the ears!  It took me two and a half days to cut and put him together but I think he was worth the time.

I hope you have enjoyed my project.  I look forward to sharing with you for another six months.

Bunny Box

I hope everyone enjoyed the Spring Hop as much as we did.  I am so happy to see spring!  I have to admit it is my favorite time of year.  For my project today I made the cute little bunny box from the new JGW Happy Easter Kit.  Added bonus, I got to use more of my Graphic 45 - Once Upon a Springtime.

He was so quick and easy to put together that I made a little family!

Doesn't he have the cutest little face.  There is just enough detail to give him character.

If you want a quick and easy project for your Easter gatherings this should be on your list.

3d Bunny

Look at this new 3d Button Jointed Rabbit I found at the Silhouette store the other day!  I love this little guy.  If you don't have a Silhouette you can still make him, he can also be found on SnapDragon Snippets.  No matter which store you decide to get him at make sure you buy both Part 1 and Part 2!

I know some of you might be thinking "there is no way I can do that".  However, if you take him one part at a time, he's not that difficult to put together.  Each piece on it's own is not difficult.  Just take your time and before you know it you will have all the pieces put together.

I used my favorite go to paper right now, Graphic 45 - Once Upon a Springtime.
