Christmas Tags ~ with Cyndy G

Happy Christmas Eve.  If any of you are like me you are doing some last minute projects.  I decided I wanted some cute tags to go on my gifts this year and I choose a file from My Scrap Chick - Sweet Winter Faces.  These were perfect.  There are very few pieces so they went to together very quickly!

Added bonus - they are super cute!

I used Trendy Twine to attach them to the packages and I added a circle to the back of each to write on.  You could also use the piece in the file that makes them a card and write inside that.  I made these smaller than the original file - I sized them to 4 inches.

I just love how these turned out.

Santa Tag

I also used the Owl Love U file.  You can't see them but this paper has owls on it.

Sweet Baby ~ with Cyndy G

Today we are celebrating the birth of the newest member or the SVG Attic family, Cooper.  There is nothing sweeter than a new baby and what better time to welcome a new life than the during the celebration of the birth of Jesus!

I made this sweet bear from JGW 3D Teddy Bear.  I just love this file!

The paper is from Carta Bella - Cabin Fever.  When this collection came out I knew
I wanted to make this bear with it!

I also used Trendy Twine to tie the arms and legs on and some crinkle ribbon for a little pop of color.

Snowman Tree ~ with Cyndy G

Hello, today I am sharing a project that I am very proud of.  A Snowman Christmas tree made with files from SVG Attic.  I used the Mourners Hat from JGW Raven Quest, Elements from JGW Frosty Topper and the eyes and mouth pieces of the snowman in SDS Ice Princess Party.

This was really easy to make! I used an 18" Styrofoam ball I got at Hobby Lobby, black balls and a scarf.  The rest I made from the files mentioned above.

This is in my office at work and I have to admit he puts a smile on everyone's face that comes in.  I just love him.  Thank you for stopping by today.

Three Wise Men ~ with Cyndy G

Hello today I am sharing a project I made using files from SVG Attic.  I made the Three Wise Men cracker boxes that can be found in the JGW Gifts for the King kit.  These went together very quickly and I think they look wonderful.  I like the way they fit in the tray that is included in the file.

My children in costumes

Today I am sharing a card from SVG Attic. I made using the CG Father Christmas kit.  The Santa's List Box Card.  This is one of my favorite cards.  I have to warn you that there is a lot of paper piecing to do with this card but I think it is worth the time!

Sunflower Card ~ with Cyndy G

Hello today I am sharing this beautiful card from My Scrap Chick.  It can be found in the Sunflowers and Bumble Bees Bundle.  This kit is awesome and has a wonderful Sunflower rosette!  I decided to make the Sunflower A2 Shape Card because I thought it would make a perfect "Get Well" card for a friend.

It is so sweet.  There are a lot of pieces but nothing difficult to put together.  I creased all my petals and inked the edges of all the pieces to give the flower more depth.  I like that it is an A2 so it won't cost a lot to mail.  I think I will be using this card often.  Thank you for stopping by.

Cup of Cocoa ~ with Cyndy G

Hello today I want to share with you a cute card I made with files from SVG Attic.  I made the steaming cocoa mug box card from JGW Snowflake Stars.

3d card with cocoa mug and snowflakes

I changed the file a little.  I added a "flap" to the front of the card.

screen shot of computer showing how I made the card

I used the extra optional piece and welded it to the card base.  NOTE:  If you are using Silhouette you will weld the two pieces together.  If you use SCAL (like I do) you will have to break apart the base then select the two pieces and under path you will select "Union".  If you don't break the base apart you will lose the fold lines.

screen shot of computer showing how I made the card

I added some bling to the center of the snowflakes and used the cutout from the cup on my front flap.  I added a small piece of foam tape to pop it.  The paper is Doodlebug Sugarplums that I had left over from last year.

Haunted Treats ~ with Cyndy G

Hello today I am sharing a project I made using files from My Scrap Chick.  I combined two different files to make this cute candy dish.  I used the Haunted House from Haunted House Easel Card and the Trick or Treat Snack Box.

Candy dish with haunted house pictured on it

I sized the Haunted House so that it was as wide as the snack box and then I welded the shapes together.  TIP:  To make sure all the pieces of the Haunted House are sized correctly put them all on the computer mat and group them before I re-sizing.

Snowman Box Card

Hello today I am sharing a Snowman Box Card from JGW Made of Snow.  I made several of these little cuties.  I just love this card!

Snowman box card

These cards went together so quickly.  I inked the edges of the snowmen to give them a little more dimension.  I also modified mine a little bit.  I welded a "flap" to the front of my card instead of using the hearts.  If I can keep up with making my cards this year I should be able to send out handmade cards to everyone on my list!

Witchie Woman ~ with Cyndy G

Hello crafty friends.  Today I am sharing a project from SVG Attic - JGW 3D Witch.  This project takes a some time a patience to put together but the finished project is well worth the effort!

Isn't she adorable.  Her skirt panels are stitched together with some embroidery floss.  The paper is some K&Company that I had and the accent panels are Graphic 45, Halloween in Wonderland.

Her hair is made out of Trendy Twine - Limeade.  I made her hair according to the directions except I used Mod Podge instead of starch and I loosened the curls.  To make her bangs I ran three strands of twine across the front of the hat.  I glued the hair around the inside edge of the hat rather than her head then attached the hat.

I added a bat to the center of her bow.  I also decided to not add the wings to my witch.

Gift Card Holders ~ with Cyndy G

Today I am sharing some gift card holders I made using a couple of files by Lori Whitlock that I purchased in the Silhouette Design Store.  These are super easy!  I used stickers to customized mine.

christmas gift card holders

This little card holder fits on one sheet of 6x6 paper.  So I used up several sheets I had left over.  Then I decided to add dimensional stickers to them instead of the included design.

christmas gift card holders

I also made a few of the Santa and Snowman gift card holders.  They are so cute and make giving a gift card a little more personal.  I can't wait to hand out mine this year!
