Witchie Woman ~ with Cyndy G

Hello crafty friends.  Today I am sharing a project from SVG Attic - JGW 3D Witch.  This project takes a some time a patience to put together but the finished project is well worth the effort!

Isn't she adorable.  Her skirt panels are stitched together with some embroidery floss.  The paper is some K&Company that I had and the accent panels are Graphic 45, Halloween in Wonderland.

Her hair is made out of Trendy Twine - Limeade.  I made her hair according to the directions except I used Mod Podge instead of starch and I loosened the curls.  To make her bangs I ran three strands of twine across the front of the hat.  I glued the hair around the inside edge of the hat rather than her head then attached the hat.  

I added a bat to the center of her bow.  I also decided to not add the wings to my witch.

Monster Fingers ~ with Cyndy G

I have been busy making sure I am ready for the Holidays this year.  Every year I plan to make things and always run out of time.  So this year I am trying to get ahead of the game.  I made some Halloween treat boxes by Jamie Cripps.  I picked them up in the Silhouette Store.

These were very easy to put together and they are so cute.  Each finger is a box.

The boxes are pretty small.  You could fit tootsie rolls, smarties or any other small rolled candy in them. 

The werewolf and mummy fingers are my favorite.

They would be good for a party since they go together so quickly.  You could make a lot in a short amount of time.  Plus I was able to fit four sets of fingers per color on one 12x12 sheet of paper.

Halloween Canning Jars ~ with Cyndy G

I can't believe Halloween is just a little more than a week away!  There is still time to get one more Halloween project in.  Today I am sharing the JGW Canning Essentials Kit,  SDS Spooky Cards and the SDS Skull Medallion.  As soon as I saw the Jars I knew what I wanted to do with them.

I love the way they turned out!  I shrunk the cards down to make tags out of them.

I used the cross bones as my poison symbol on the jars and my favorite touch was adding a red oval to the end of the pickle to make it look like a witch's finger!

My kids loved these jars.  I was informed that they like the big jar best.  When I asked why they said "Because you can eat what's in it."  I should have known that.

I filled the jar with eyeball gum that I found at Michael's.  What a fun project.  I love the versatility these sets have.

Haunted Forest SVG Kit

Wow, I just love this new kit from SVGcuts, Haunted Forest SVG Kit (follow the link to their page to find the file)!  Mary makes the most awesome houses.  This one is now my favorite.  It went together perfectly.  I rarely have problems putting svgcuts files together.  They take so much time to make sure everything is just right.  That's what you get with quality.  I made the haunted house out of this kit.  I love how it turned out.  The detail is over-the-top!  If you've been on the fence about purchasing some of their files, I assure you you won't regret it.  Not only do you get the best designs, you get the best customer service in the business!  Anyway enough gushing, here are the pictures of my witch's house...

How cool do those webworms look in the background.  Don't worry, they actually don't harm the tree, they will be gone in a few weeks.  But they sure do make for a spooky background.

Oh, yeah I used paper from Midnight Magic by Mambi (I think, I pulled all the paper out of the pad).  I picked it up on clearance last year after Halloween.
